After a new snow, 2 Ravens stop for a rest in an old graveyard on some headstones. I used Pen&Ink on Mi Tientes warm grey colored paper, then added highlights with white gel pen and a touch of Acrylic Titanium white where I wanted some texture. I wanted a gloomy atmosphere with deep contrast between light and shadow so I could emphasise the majesty of the old Oak tree and the aging tombstones it towered above. The high level of contrast also accentuates the movement created by the Ravens .
